Chairman XU Niansha Meeting with CEO of the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts

David Fay, CEO of the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, paid a return visit to Poly Culture and Poly Theatre for one week from May 7th. On May 8th, Chairman XU Niansha of China Poly Group and Poly Culture met David Fay and his team at New Poly Plaza.

Chairman XU expressed welcome to David Fay and had a favorable comment on the collaborative work carried out by the Bushnell Center and Poly Culture including personnel training, American performing industry visit, and joint investment in theatre plays. And he pointed out that internationalized operation is an important strategy of Poly Group. The Bushnell Center is experienced in theatre management, theatre content production, and art education. Chairman XU hopes that the Bushnell Center and Poly Theatre could strengthen cooperation and build an international operation team to promote the internationalization of Poly Group and Poly Culture.

David Fay was grateful to Chairman XU for his warm and thoughtful arrangement. He said that Poly Culture and the Bushnell Center have had good cooperation and prospects so he decided to choose Poly Culture as destination of his eastern hemisphere trip. He hopes to further deepen mutual understanding, consolidate the basis for cooperation and strive for more cooperative results.

Mr. ZHANG Xi, the Deputy Manager of Poly Group and Mr. GUO Wenpeng, the Deputy Manager of Poly Culture also attended the meeting.

On May 8th, David Fay had another meeting with Mr. JIANG Yingchun, General Manager of Poly Culture and Mr. GUO Wenpeng, Deputy Manager of Poly Culture. Mr. JIANG introduced Poly Culture’s businesses to David Fay and expressed his hope to carry out cooperation on theatre management, art education and theatre content production with the help of the Bushnell Center to realize internationalization. David Fay said that he looked forward to cooperating with Poly Culture and explained in detail about the development of American theatres and the procedure of acquisition of American theatres. Based on the American visit, David Fay talked about potential acquisition theatres and proposals. The two sides agreed that they will further study the cooperation and operation model, speed up the formation of joint venture, establish substantive cooperation, and expand cooperation to lay a foundation for Poly Culture’s internationalized operation.

From May 8th to May 13th, David Fay and team, accompanied by Mr. GUO Wenpeng took a field trip to Poly Theatres in Beijing, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Shanghai and so on. E ach theater manager introduced the theater facilities, operation management and other aspects. They also visited the Poly Heyue Youth Palace. At the end of the visit, David Fay watched the original musical The Burning of Opiumat Humen, which was invested by Poly Theater and discussed how to improve the quality of Chinese musicals with Mr. GUO Wengpeng. David Fay had a deep impression on Poly Theater's advanced management philosophy, rich operational results, and high quality service.
